Dave Leroux III, CPA, MSA

Managing Partner & Founder

David Leroux III is a seasoned financial executive and Certified Public Accountant with a focus on driving operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic growth. As Managing Partner of Regal Accounting Solutions and CFO of Bancroft Construction, David brings both public accounting discipline and real-world operating experience to business owners and growing organizations.

With over a decade in public accounting prior to transitioning into executive leadership, David has developed deep expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, strategic planning, and performance analysis. His background includes strengthening financial systems, optimizing budgeting processes, enhancing reporting accuracy, and implementing operational controls that support scalable growth.

In his role as CFO within the construction industry, David oversees capital management, financial reporting, contract administration, subcontractor and outsourcing structures, risk management, and insurance strategy. He works closely with ownership teams to align financial decisions with long-term business objectives.

David’s approach combines technical precision with strategic insight, helping business owners improve visibility, control risk, and make disciplined, data-driven decisions that support sustained profitability.

He earned his Master of Science in Accounting and maintains active CPA credentials.

Courtney Leroux

Courtney is Co-Founder of Regal Accounting Solutions, where she leads bookkeeping, payroll, marketing, and operational strategy. As a founder, she plays a central role in building the firm’s client experience and internal systems while helping business owners stay organized, compliant, and growth-focused.

With hands-on experience supporting growing companies, Courtney understands that clean financials are the foundation for smart decision-making. She oversees day-to-day accounting processes, payroll execution, and workflow management to ensure clients have timely, accurate reporting. Beyond operations, she also drives Regal’s marketing initiatives and strategic positioning, helping the firm connect with business owners who value proactive financial guidance.

Her approach combines attention to detail with forward-looking strategy. She works closely with clients to streamline processes, improve visibility into cash flow, and support long-term business planning.

Courtney is deeply committed to building a firm centered on clarity, responsiveness, and disciplined execution.

In her spare time she loves time spent with her Family, Husband, Daughter and 2 dogs!

Founder

Clint Carney is a seasoned financial executive with deep expertise in strategic finance, accounting operations, and tax compliance and tax mitigation.

Across his career, Clint has built a reputation for delivering pragmatic financial insight, driving technology-enabled process improvements, and supporting M&A activity, bank relationship oversight, and ERP implementation efforts. He is recognized for his technical proficiency, strategic mindset, and ability to bridge finance, accounting and tax concepts to achieve organizational goals.

Clint’s technical expertise spans a wide range of industries, including technology, professional services, construction, fitness and manufacturing. This broad exposure has reinforced his belief that each business is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

Clint is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds degrees from UMass Lowell (BSBA in Accounting) and Bentley University (MS in Taxation). In addition to Regal Accounting, he also serves as visiting faculty at UMass Lowell and volunteers for various non-profit organizations.

In his spare time, Clint enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and their dog, Happy.

Kevin Bruno is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial operations. His background spans Big Four firms, regional CPA practices, and private industry, providing him with a broad perspective on both technical accounting matters and operational execution.
Kevin currently serves as Manager of Finance Operations at a Financial Technology Company, where he focuses on financial oversight, process improvement, and revenue optimization within complex organizational structures. Throughout his career, he has advised clients ranging from large financial institutions to closely held family businesses, developing a practical understanding of both enterprise-level controls and owner-operated dynamics.
His experience includes financial reporting, audit coordination, internal controls, and operational process refinement. Kevin brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to financial management, with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and sustainable growth.
He earned his degrees from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School and maintains active CPA credentials.

Kevin Bruno, CPA, MSA

Jack Bertolami is a Tax Manager with experience advising individuals and closely held businesses on tax compliance and planning matters. He brings a strong technical foundation in federal and state taxation, with a focus on delivering accurate reporting while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.

Jack previously served at Withum for four years, where he worked with a range of clients across industries, assisting with entity taxation, individual returns, and complex tax filings. His experience includes supporting business owners with multi-entity structures, navigating evolving tax regulations, and coordinating compliance across various jurisdictions.

Known for his disciplined approach and attention to detail, Jack combines technical proficiency with a practical understanding of client operations. He is committed to helping clients manage risk, maintain compliance, and plan proactively for future growth.

Jack earned his degree from the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration, maintains active CPA credentials, and continues to build expertise in advanced tax strategy and advisory services.

Director of Accounting Services

Dan Kretzenger is Director of Accounting Services at Regal Accounting Solutions, where he supports business owners with outsourced accounting, financial reporting, process improvement, and advisory services. He brings more than a decade of experience helping companies strengthen their accounting functions, improve reporting accuracy, and develop financial systems that support better decision-making.

 

Prior to joining Regal, Dan served in advisory and outsourced accounting roles at Withum, where he worked with a wide range of clients, including startups and growing companies with complex accounting needs. His experience includes managing monthly client engagements, overseeing accounting teams, reviewing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, coordinating system implementations, and helping business owners improve visibility into financial performance.

 

Dan’s technical background includes GAAP reporting, financial operations, job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month-end close, and financial analysis. He is known for his practical, client-focused approach and his ability to assess each client’s needs, streamline accounting processes, and deliver reliable reporting that management can use to make informed decisions.

 

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College. At Regal, he is committed to helping clients maintain accurate financial records, improve internal processes, and build accounting systems that support long-term growth.

Christie Bruno

Christie brings more than 20 years of experience managing the financial operations of a family-owned manufacturing business. As an office manager and bookkeeper for a machine shop, her responsibilities have included general bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, and managing vendor relationships. 

She enjoys supporting small business owners by helping them stay organized and maintain accurate financial records. Known for her detail-oriented approach and relationship-focused style, she takes pride in providing dependable bookkeeping support that business owners can trust.

 

She studied Paralegal Studies at Suffolk University and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with her family of five and has been actively involved in her children’s school community.

Paul Bardaro is a senior tax and advisory professional with decades of experience advising closely held businesses, multi-entity operating companies, and their owners on complex financial, tax, and strategic matters.

A former Partner at a national public accounting firm and founder of a regional CPA practice, Paul has extensive experience in business valuation, transaction advisory, shareholder matters, succession planning, and ownership transitions. He works closely with business owners and executive teams to navigate significant financial decisions, including acquisitions and mergers, buy-sell agreements, leveraged transactions, complex tax planning, and business succession strategies.

Paul also has substantial experience serving as a valuation expert, litigation support advisor, and consultant in matters involving shareholder disputes, business valuations, financial analysis, and transaction-related matters. His broad technical background and practical business experience allow him to provide thoughtful, executive-level guidance to clients facing complex financial and ownership decisions.

Throughout his career, Paul has been actively involved in both the accounting profession and the broader business community. He is a former Board Member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and has served on its Legislation & Public Policy, Political Action, and Business Valuation and Litigation Support Committees. He has also held leadership and board positions with regional healthcare organizations, Visiting Nurse & Community Care, and the Medford Rotary Club.

Paul is a frequent author and presenter on tax planning, financial projections, business valuation, and financial statement analysis. He has been quoted in regional and national publications and has appeared on television as a tax expert.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, with Highest Honors, from Bentley College.
